Site selling $356 of assets for $29, funds raised go to Child’s Play and AbleGamers

GameDev Market launches charity asset bundle

GameDev Market, a site that sells a variety of game assets for developers to use in their titles, has launched a charity bundle in order to raise money in the run-up to Christmas.

This is the first time the site has bundled its assets together, and all proceeds will be split between two charities: Child’s Play and AbleGamers.

The Christmas Charity Bundle encompasses a mix of 2D, 3D, GUI and audio assets suitable to sci-fi and fantasy games, cartoon platformers, retro-style space shooters, RPGs and more. In total, the assets included are valued at $356 but the bundle costs $29.

On sale until the December 28th, GameDev Market’s Christmas Charity Bundle can be found here.

“With both charities being closely associated with the games industry, we feel they are the perfect fit for our first ever charity fundraiser,” said MD Liam McElroy.

“They’re both great causes and we’re glad to have the chance to help out. We hope this bundle will allow us to give something back to a community that has kindly supported us over the last 18 months.”
