Connection Events has revealed the five winners of its Level Up competition to help new developers showcase their talents.
By winning the competition, the five selected studios get free exhibitor status at the Game Connection Lyon business matchmaking event, worth 3,500 Euros, where they can dazzle visitors such as 2K Games, Microsoft, Namco Bandai, Nintendo, SCEE and Disney Interactive Studios.
The organisers received dozens of entries to the Level Up competition from Asia, Europe, North America and South America. The five winners are:
DrinkBox Studios Inc. (Canada)
IKS Games (Poland)
MusiGames LTDA (Brazil)
Reality Twist GmbH (Germany)
Artifex Mundi (Poland)
"Brazilian developers always told us that Game Connection was the best place for them to do business," said Americo Amorim, CEO of MusiGames.
"When we founded MusiGames in 2007, the first event that came to our mind was the Lyon edition! We applied for the Level Up and were extremely happy to be selected. We will be able to reach the best players in the industry, allowing us to find good partners for our games and innovative audio technologies."
Game Connection Lyon takes place from November 5th to 7th in Lyon, France. Registration is still open for buyers; more details can be found at the Game Connection website.
