36 more staff allegedly set to leave in Itagaki's wake

Further walkouts at Tecmo?

It seems that Tecmo’s problems may be far from over, if reports are to believed.

According to 1-Up’s cited ‘word on the street’, as many as three dozen key members of Team Ninja are planning on leaving the company, and will each individually file a class action lawsuit against their former employer for unpaid bonuses.

Earlier this month previous Team Ninja leader Tomonobu Itagaki announced his resignation from the company, simultaneously revealing that he had started legal action against his former employers due to unpaid bonuses and unfair treatment.

In a previous response to Itagaki’s departure, Tecmo stated: "Tecmo would like to assure its loyal fans that Team Ninja, known for its top-selling and critically acclaimed Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive franchises, is intact and, as a matter of fact, has several new projects already underway."
