Unity Technologies is to hold a free day event geared towards Flash developers interested in learning more about the Unity engine.
Taking place on October 27th, the day leading into Unity’s annual Unite conference – this year in San Francisco – the event will see attendees given an introduction to the Unity engine, as well as case studies from renowned Flash developers John Grden, Andy Zupko and Paul Tondeur.
“It’s great to be able to invite hundreds of skilled developers to this event”, says Nicholas Francis, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Unity.
“Unity can do so many things just not possible in Flash – iPhones, anyone? – and I can’t wait for people who have already made the leap to say how nice this water actually is.”
The day-long event is free to those registered to attend Unite 2009, which runs from October 27th to 30th at the Fort Mason Centre in San Francisco. For more information and to buy tickets, visit the Unity website.
