London-based online games firm Two Way Media has produced a Facebook title for Fox International Channels, the global TV arm of the Fox Entertainment Group.
The Deal, which is based on the FIC produced TV drama The Booth at the End, marks the latest in a line of Two Way Media TV games projects and work involving popular TV franchises.
“We’re very excited to be involved in The Booth at the End. It’s a fantastic idea that has given us the opportunity to create a unique game,” said Two Way Media chief executive James Turner.
“The Deal is a truly social game that has a strong narrative at its core. It allows players to immerse themselves within the story and help others along the way.”
FIC VP of global online publishing Dario D’Aprile was enthused by the potential of the new transmedia project.
“The Booth at the End has proven to be a highly anticipated new digital series that lends itself to multi-platform services,” he said.
“Featuring an intriguing and globally relevant premise, the series, in its various formats, is perfectly adaptable content for FIC. Two Way Media has executed this perfectly in The Deal, giving fans the chance to engage with the show on new and different level.”
