Football sim I Am Playr hits 1m MAUs

We R Interactive’s Facebook football lifestyle sim I Am Playr has surpassed one million monthly active users, the developer has claimed.

Released in October last year, the company said that the Unity-powered game had increased its weekly user-count by 100,000 in the last month alone.

I Am Playr is a first-person football simulator which allows users to play matches and also work on their player’s fitness through training off the field.

“Our aim is for I Am Playr to be the world’s biggest, most authentic online football game and to have reached this milestone and be able to stake our claim as the biggest Facebook Unity game just six months since launch is a pretty incredible achievement,” said We R Interactive CEO David Rose.

“Fuelling further growth, development of the mobile version of I Am Playr is well underway in preparation for the Euros 2012.”
