UK Studio Hotlist - launching on July 26th - will also be free to download for a limited time

As the release of our comprehensive UK Studio Hotlist draws near, we’re making all past issues of the Develop 100 completely free.

The Develop 100 has been published for the last nine years, and has ranked the world's studios using a variety of metrics.

Last year the influential guide gathered up votes from game journalists from around the world and had them vote for the best games of all time. In 2011, the Develop 100 looked at the top 100 studios from around the globe based on revenue generated in the UK, as provided by GfK Chart-Track. Each listing included detailed information on game sales as well as a profile of each studio charting its history and reasons for success.

This year’s first volume of the Develop 100, which goes live next week, includes our top 100 of British studios, with profiles of each as well as a comprehensive list of EVERY games developer in the UK.

The Develop 100 UK Studio Hotlist will also be free for a limited time.

You can read our extensive guide to UK studios and past volumes of the Develop 100 by downloading the Develop digital magazine app and adding the Develop 100.

Readers and industry professionals are also invited to our special launch event with Ukie, taking place on July 26th, where Develop will present key findings from the book, and discuss what it takes to build a modern games studio in a special panel discussion with four of the studios on the list.

The event takes place 2.30pm to 3.30pm at Ukie's new offices in central London (UKIE, 21-27 Lambs Conduit Street, London, WC1N 3BD) and is open to all - but spaces are limited. Please email Sam.Collins@ukie.org.uk to confirm your attendance.
