Meet the accelerator and investor in London at November 12th event

Execution Labs heads to Interface, seeks studios to invest in

Execution Labs will be scouting for studios to invest in at next week’s Interface event.

Execution Labs, the accelerator and investment platform for independent game studios, is attending after much success at the first Interface in May. The company’s support of the event also follows a recent grad of the accelerator, Outerminds, built the number one charting PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist while in the Execution Labs program. In addition, the firm’s Finishing Fund supported the launch of highly-rated multiplayer brawler Secret Ponchos onto Steam last month.

"We are looking forward to meeting with entrepreneurial developers at Interface this fall," said Jason Della Rocca, co-founder of Execution Labs. "We have already welcomed a number of European and UK-based studios to the Execution Labs family this year and can’t wait to see who else is out there."

Stefano Petrullo, veteran communication specialist and founder of Renaissance PR, will be representing the Labs on-site. He added: "I had the amazing experience to be a mentor for Execution Labs’ latest Accelerator cohort, and I’m incredibly proud to represent them at Interface in November.

"I am keen to see new projects and innovative ideas coming from the creative British developers who will be there."

Brought to you by MCV and Develop, Interface is a great opportunity to get your games signed by some of the top publishers in the UK who are attending the event on Thursday, November 12th at St Mary’s Church, near Baker Street, London. Publishers looking to sign new products next month include Channel 4, KISS, Sold Out, Green Man Gaming and 505 Games.

The conference programme is aimed at giving valuable insight into areas such as funding, reaching global markets, bringing alternative games to market, pitching your game and much more besides.

The basic indie expo pass to attend is free, with indie tickets for the meeting system (which guarantees you a day’s schedule of private meetings with publishers looking to sign new games) priced at £59 +VAT. Indie game expo spaces are £179 + VAT and include involvement in the meeting system.

The Interface Meeting System is at the heart of the day, with private meetings between delegates and hosts. NewBay Media take all the details of attendees and hosts and matchmake them, based on requirements and needs. Plus, along with the conference there is a public expo running throughout the day.

Interface partners also include Unity, Localize Direct and Audiokinetic.

You can book tickets to the event here, and find out more via www.interface.events. Indie devs are able to attend free of charge – any indies interested should register here.

A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available. Contact Jennie Lane at jlane@nbmedia.com or Charlotte Nangle at cnangle@nbmedia.com, or call them on 01992 535 647, to find out more.
