Former VP of EU major markets for triple-A publisher moves to QA and localisation specialist

Ex-EA exec Keith Ramsdale joins Testronic as COO

QA and localisation firm Testronic Laboratoeries has appointed former EA exec Keith Ramsdale as its new chief operating officer.

Ramsdale held a number of high-profile positions at EA, becoming UK MD in 2005, before moving onto the role of GM and VP of Northern Europe three years later and finally being promoted to VP of EU major markets in 2014.

Testronic said in its announcement that Ramsdale would help the 600-strong firm expand its business in games, film and TV across its LA, London and Warsaw offices.

“This is a great opportunity for me, particularly given that the company is on such an impressive growth path,” said Ramsdale.

“Testronic is incredibly well respected within the games business and boasts some of the very biggest names in the industry on its client roster.

“I’m very much looking forward to working with Dominic Wheatley [CEO of Testronic parent Catalis] and the team. There is a dynamism within the business that is both professional and fun, and I look forward to working within such an entrepreneurial environment.”

Wheatley added: “The appointment of Keith Ramsdale as Testronic’s new COO is a great coup for us.

“His experience and reputation within the entertainment industry is second to none; we’re delighted that he’s joining us at a time when Testronic’s business is enjoying an upwards trajectory, and at an exciting point for the Catalis Group as a whole.”
