Organisation calls on developers to help evaluate sector's size, comoposition and economic impact

The Entertainment Software Association of Canada is calling on developers to help it complete a study on the state of the Canadian game industry.

Working with Noricity, the survey has been designed to help evaluate the size, composition and economic impact of the industry on Canada’s economy.

The last extensive survey conducted by the organisation took place in 2011, and can be found here.

“We’ve extended the survey deadline by a week to make sure we receive the most complete picture of how Canadian video game studios are performing,” said ESAC CEO Jayson Hilchie.

“The information will help all of us better understand what’s going on in the Canadian industry and help our collective advocacy efforts as well.”

The deadline to take part in the survey has been extended to April 15th. The survey is open to game studios and publishers based in Canada.
