Just a day after being named as the leader in our Develop 100, EA has reinforced its place in Canadian games development by backing the Vancouver International Games Summit.

Taking place from May 3rd to May 4th, the Vancouver event brings together the region's leading developers - with EA's place as title sponsor reinforced with a keynote from EA Canada studio GM and VP Rory Armes. Wideload's Alex Seropian is also offering a keynote at the event.

Other sessions will be hosted by speakers from Propaganda Games, Ubisoft, Radical , Relic, Hot Head Games, Union Entertainment, Next Level Games, TIRA Wireless, Cascada Mobile and other games studios.

“We are very excited to have EA onboard as the Vancouver International Game Summit’s title sponsor,” said Greg Spievak, president and CEO of Reboot Communications, which organises the event.

“They are a pillar in the gaming community and continue to make significant contributions to the industry through their creative game designs and innovative global vision. EA’s involvement is an important part of our effort to bring the industry together and push the boundaries of gaming.”
