Free-to-play specialist to offer US publisher an inroad into the lucrative Asian online games sector

Leading global console and casual games publisher EA has acquired Korean online games developer J2MSoft in a move designed to open up the lucrative world of Asian internet microtransactions to the firm.

“This is a significant step in EA's strategic plan for developing and publishing online games in Asia,” EA Asia president Jon Niermann stated.
