As Develop predicted last week, Nintendo has detailed its strategy for DSi Ware games at its GDC keynote, with Nintendo of America’s Bill Trinen saying "DSi Ware offers digital distribution for unique ideas that would get overlooked on retail stores".
He added: "It also offers developers to chance to deliver on the ideas that make theDSi unique," such as the camera and touch screens.
"It also gives you an opportunity to deliver on one of the key concepts of DSi – personalisation and entertainment," he said.
Trinen demoed DSi Ware titles Moving Memo, which lets people create and share animations quickly, and Wario Ware Snap which uses the camera. Both have already proven popular in Japan.
"We hope this will inspire you to come up with some of your own," said Trinen.
