Year-on-year numbers up 96% across January and February; Free directory listing on offer

Double traffic record for Develop Online

Develop Online achieved two individual month traffic records in January and February, according to new Google Analytics data.

Online readership climbed above 171,000 unique users in January (up 82% year-on-year) and 210,000 in February (up 111%).

The data marks the most successful January and February months ever for Develop, following a successful 2011 where general UU traffic had more than doubled across the year and peaked at 323,000 unique users in June.

Combined, the unique user readership for January and February is about 96 per cent bigger compared to the same period in 2011.

Meanwhile, some 835,000 page views were recorded in the first sixty days of the year; another all-time record.

Growth remains sustained. Develop’s traffic in March 2011 – which at the time was its biggest ever – has since been superseded on nine separate occasions.

Today, some 19,000 people visit Develop Online more than 200 times each month, the consolidated data showed.

"Programmers, artists, musicians, producers, directors and investors have discovered that Develop’s website is the perfect daily addition to the monthly read that is the Develop print and digital edition," said publisher Stuart Dinsey.

"We are delighted to be growing both our print and online readership. This is a direct result of targeted outreach projects and a clear editorial strategy. Develop is an essential business tool for everyone in the sector."
