Develop Online, the fastest growing games industry website, has shattered online traffic records in two successive months.
According to Google Analytics, online readership for www.develop-online.net soared to 303,696 unique users for the month of May.
The unique user milestone more than doubles Develop Online’s previous all-time record, which was set in March this year at 129,112 unique users.
Yet May’s significant breakthrough was surpassed just one month later, with Develop Online’s traffic in June reaching new heights at 323,112 unique users.
More than 1.1 million pages were read across both months, Google’s data showed.
The figures mean Develop Online’s traffic has grown 317% since June 2010 (month-on-month comparison).
Cementing Develop’s position as world’s the fastest-growing games business publication, its website has broken its all-time traffic records three times this year alone.
The records were driven by the publication of Develop 100, as well as compelling feature content from Develop magazine, regular exclusive news items, as well as comprehensive coverage of events like E3.
"Programmers, artists, musicians, producers, directors and investors have discovered that Develop’s website is the perfect daily addition to the monthly read that is the Develop print and digital edition," said Develop publisher Stuart Dinsey.

Develop recently expanded with an iOS app, allowing readers to catch up on the latest news while on the go.
Meanwhile, those who register to the website can receive a daily newsletter in email form, as well as occasional newsflashes for when the most important news stories break.
Develop is also growing fast across social networks, on Twitter, on LinkedIn and on Facebook.
Various RRS feeds are available too.
