Retail and platform giant will discuss web development tools at October conference

Develop Live: Amazon talks HTML5 vs Unity

Amazon has signed up to speak at Develop Live, the first conference from the team behind Develop.

The online giant’s developer evangelist Jesse Freeman will take to the stage and offer an insight into how studios can choose the development tool that is best suited to their project.

His sessions, entitled ‘Picking the right tool for the job: HTML5 vs Unity’, will discuss how the two popular products enable devs to create good cross-platform games, running through the pros and cons of each with a single game as a case study.

Freeman is an expert in web and interactive development, having previously worked with Microsoft, MLB, HBO, the New York Jets and more.

Amazon is just one of many firms speaking at the Develop Live conference, alongside British crime author Christoper Brookmyre, DeltaDNA, Dimensional Imaging, Speech Graphics, Outplay Entertainment, Newcastle University and more.

You can check out the full programme so far at www.develop-live.com, with more keynotes and sessions to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
