Job listing suggests Visceral is developing a new triple-A IP

Dead Space studio hiring for original title

Dead Space creator Visceral Games is hiring for an unannounced triple-A project.

The studio behind the spacefaring survival horror title posted job listings for environment artists and an earlier one for a technical art director, as spotted by IGN.

"This is a major opportunity to contribute creatively to an exciting new IP," offered EA in its job listing.

Just what Visceral Games is currently working on is up for debate.

The studio is thought to be working on a next-gen Star Wars game, following EA penning a deal with Disney to produces games based on the sci-fi franchise.

But game analyst Michael Pachter claims that the studio is also working on a new Battlefield title.

In the meantime, the horror series that the studio created was thought to have been canned earlier this year, following poor sales of its third major outing. However, EA Labels president Frank Gibeau said that the publisher has not taken the possibility of a sequel off the table just yet.
