Trade association GDAA hands out yearly honours - majority go to THQ's Wii title

De Blob dominates Australian development awards

The Games Developers Association of Australia this weekend held its yearly awards event, with Blue Tongue’s De Blob scooping most of the prizes.

The THQ-published Wii-exclusive title took home the prizes for best console title, best gameplay, best audio, best graphics and the GDAA’s game of the year award.

Best unassigned game – indie category, went to Qantm College students’ Debug, while Dung by Firemint won best mobile title.

Zoo Hospital by Torus Games won the best handheld game title – Torus also took hom the best PC game prize for its Monster Jam game.
