Cevat Yerli to provide a speech on future graphical benchmarks

Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli has been announced as the newest keynote speaker to attend the upcoming GDC Europe event.

The announcement follows the recent revelation that Cevat’s brother, Avni, has joined GDCE’s advisory board.

Cevat will offer a keynote entitled ‘The Future of Gaming Graphics'; aptly so for the German developer which has in recent times delivered the remarkably high-end PC title Crysis as well as the new multiplatform CryEngine 3.

Cevat will discuss opportunities for immersion as graphical realism reaches new heights, and technology continues to deliver faster processors capable of greater rendering.

"As a German based company, we are proud to participate in GDC Europe in Cologne,” said Cevat. “We are very excited to share and communicate our success story with our fellow European developers and inspire the newer generation."

Previously, GDCE organisers Think Services revealed that Hilmar Petursson, the CEO at Icelandic developer CCP Games, would be providing a keynote at the event.

Furthermore, Remedy Entertainment, the Finnish developer responsible for two Max Payne games and the upcoming Alan Wake, will see the company’s managing director deliver a keynote.

GDC Europe will open its doors from August 17-19.
