Criterion founders Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry reveal new studio

Ward announced the news today on Twitter, following the pair’s exit from the racing game studio in January.

Ward added: “We are looking for talented Staff who are skilled in at least three fields of creating electronic entertainment.”

The two have yet to announce any projects in development under the new studio. Meanwhile, the remaining Criterion team is currently developing an unannounced project for next-gen consoles – headed up by lead developer Matt Webster.

Ward announced he and Sperry were leaving Criterion back in January to form a new games company. Ward is now a bi-monthly columnist for Develop magazine. His first column is available in our February Issue and can be read online here.
