New Dundee studio ReAgent Games working on sequel

Cloud tech provides Crackdown 3 with 20 times the computational power of Xbox One

Microsoft’s cloud technology will provide 20 times the computational power of standard Xbox One hardware in Crackdown 3, the company has claimed.

The computing giant said the multiplayer for the game will feature a fully destructible city, powered by its cloud tech. The title is set in a city overrun by crime.

The new trailer for the game was unveiled by Dave Jones, creative director on the game at new Dundee-based studio ReAgent Games. He is also a co-founder of another Scottish company Cloudgine, which has also been providing tech for the title.

Crackdown 3 is expected to be released in 2016.
