The Writers’ Guild of Great Britain has revealed the finalists for this year’s awards, with three acclaimed games in the running.
The shortlist for Best Writing in a Video Games includes a trio of titles by some of the UK’s best indie studios.
This year’s finalists include Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture, written by Dan Pinchbeck, and Her Story, written and developed by Sam Barlow.
Finally, Failbetter Games’ Sunless Sea has been nominated, with the game’s writing credited to Alexis Kennedy, Richard Cobbett, Amal El-Mohtar, Chris Gardiner, Meg Jayanth and Emily Short.
The Writers’ Guild of Great Britain awards will be held in London on Monday, January 18th.
