New SDK allows popular engine’s users to introduce backend and metrics features

ChilliConnect adds Unity support

ChilliConnect, the backend-as-a-service tool from Dundee dev Tag Games, is now compatible with the Unity engine.

The company has introduced a new Unity SDK with ChilliConnect’s latest update, enabling devs to add the tools features to any title built with Unity’s tech.

Features include user management, leaderboard and analytics tools, push notifications, cloud storage and DLC management, all of which are available for iOS and Unity developers. Android developers can expect support later in the year.

ChilliConnect is a spin-off project from mobile developer Tag Games and is currently in beta, with a full launch due by the end of Q1 2016.

“Since our Beta launch last year we’ve received a lot of positive feedback from users,” said head of product Mike Herron. “We’re delighted to now offer Unity developers the chance see for themselves how easy it is to add social and connected features to their game with ChilliConnect.”
