Publisher delegates work to hundreds of staff overseas; Core 150 team in Japan
The Resident Evil 6 project is Capcom’s biggest ever by workforce, with more than 600 staff from around the world involved in production.
Hiroyuki Kobayashi, the executive producer with the task of mastering the game before November, said the project “is by far the largest-scale Capcom has ever embarked on”.
“Between the 150 staff members in Japan and everyone around the world we have more than 600 people involved. A lot of work has gone into this game,” he added.
The triple-A title is to launch November 20th.
“This game not only has a larger world and a deeper experience than you have ever played before, but we’re excited to say it’s a blend of action and survival horror – something we like to call dramatic horror,” said the title’s producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi.
