Cryptic Studios' Bill Roper to step in; Publisher reports £18m quarterly loss

Bungie co-founder quits Disney

Bungie co-founder Alex Seropian (pictured) has parted ways with Disney Interactive just one year since taking on the job, the publisher has confirmed.

Disney explained to GameInformer that Seropian would be replaced by Bill Roper, a development executive who previously held senior roles at the likes of Blizzard and – up until 2010 – Cryptic Studios.

Seropian’s next move is unclear.

On Tuesday Disney announced a £17.6 million ($28m) loss during the final three months of 2011, as revenues fell 20 per cent to £175 million ($279m) during the quarter.
