Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will feature cross-play functionality between the Xbox One and Windows 10 versions.
The new feature means Windows 10 and Xbox One players will be able to explore the game’s gothic world together.
The news was announced by the game’s creator and Castlevania designer Koji Igarishi during Xbox’s Gamescom press conference.
“We’re really really excited to team up with Microsoft and prepare such a cutting edge feature for our fans.”
Bloodstained smashed Kickstarter records earlier when it raised $5.5m.
