Duo from COD: Ghosts team join new studio from Gears of War creator

Cliff Bleszinski has hired two former Neversoft developers to work on his brand new shooter.

The game designer, who recently opened new studio Boss Key Productions, has recruited Ryan Palser and David Rose, both of who worked on Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Ghosts, according to GamesBeat.

Palser served as an animator at Neversoft, contributing to last year's Call of Duty, and joins Boss Key as senior animator. Meanwhile, Rose was lead UI artist at Neversoft and takes up the oddly enviable position of 'UI ninja'.

Bleszinski said of the hires: "We wanted to get talented developers who worked on big franchises but who wanted to make something new."

Boss Key is currently recruiting for work on its first title: a free-to-play sci-fi FPS focused on arean-based multiplayer deathmatches, akin to Bleszinski's former title Unreal Tournament. The title, currently codenamed Blue Streak, is due to be published by Nexon in 2015.
