Unity and PlayDead to show alongside Vision Engine 8
Nordic Game 2010 is drawing some big industry attendees to talk and display their tech for the many conference events.
Unity Technologies VP of strategy Brett Seyler and PlayDead lead designer Jeppe Carlsen will be speaking, and the Vision Engine 8 will receive a technical showing.
Brett Seyler will be talking about “Where Unity is Going (and Why)”, explaining opportunities for game developers in the web and mobile spaces, while Jeppe Carlsen will talk about the design principles behind the puzzles of forthcoming Xbox LIVE Arcade game Limbo.
“We are very happy to announce these final sessions for our program”, said Nordic Game’s communications director Jacob Riis.
“They represent two of the most successful Nordic companies right now, and the fact that they’re ready to share their knowledge is a fantastic opportunity for our delegates”.
The showing for the Vision Engine 8 will be hosted by Tringy co-founder Fabian Roeken in a session entitled "An In-Depth Technical Look at Vision Engine 8". The session will showcase, amongst other things, Vision Engine 8's new browser plug-in WebVision, new features, new post-processing framework and Lua debugger.
