The British Film Institute will be holding a video games conference later this month during one of the UK’s biggest celebrations of games development.
The Video Games Day will take place at Nottingham Council House on Wednesday, October 28th, coinciding with popular festival GameCity. The event is being organised by the BFI’s Certification Unit, which handles applications for video games tax relief.
The conference will look back at the first year of tax relief, explore other sources of finance and support available to UK developers and feature a case study from Creative England.
There will also be networking opportunities at the new National Video Games Arcade, and limited slots for one-to-one meetings with the ceritifaction team.
More details on the event will be added to the BFI Video Games Day 2015 Facebook page. Developers interested in attending can book tickets here.
