BioShock composer Garry Schyman to be the first subject of The BAFTA Interview

BAFTA backs Game Music Connect

The British Academy of FIlm and Television Arts has signed up to support next month’s Game Music Connect in London.

The Academy will be hosting a new session called The BAFTA Interview, which this year will see Game Music Connect co-founder interview Garry Schyman about his award-winning work on the BioShock Infinite soundtrack.

"Game Music Connect shares BAFTA’s mission to champion creative excellence in games, sharing the insights and tricks of the trade of some of the most exciting names in games composition – including this year’s BAFTA winner Garry Schyman," said BAFTA’s director of learning and events.

"We’re only too happy to be part of this passionate band of devotees, flying the flag for this specialist craft which makes such an important contribution to today’s video game experiences."

Game Music Connect will be held in The Purcell Room at London’s Southbank Centre on Wednesday, September 24th.
