Babel has appointed Toshiyuki Nagai as the new director of business development of its Japanese office.
Nagai was previously general manager of Japanese developer Genius Sonority – developer of various Pokemon and Dragon Quest spin-offs, and Nintendo’s recent 100 Classic Book Collection – where he managed development, planning and operations.
"I am delighted Toshiyuki could join us," said Keith Russell, VP Sales and Marketing at Babel.
"His wealth of knowledge of the Japanese market, his contacts within the industry as well as within all our existing clients, means he brings considerable advantage to the team. I am confident he will help us grow our business in Japan."
Babel has also recently formed a partnership with Entalize, the ‘leading Japanese localisation company’, in order to boost its Japanese offerings.
