Autodesk will hold an education summit at the fmx conference in Stuttgart, Germany.
The event will bring together educators and Autodesk’s industry parters, including DreamWorks, Electronic Arts, Disney Animation and Sony Pictures Imageworks.
David Della-Rocca, worldwide education product manager at Autodesk Media & Entertainment, said, “Over the last several years, the number of schools offering programmes in digital media, specifically film, video, broadcast, games development, general animation and visual effects has increased significantly," said David Della-Rocca, worldwide education product manager at Autodesk Media & Entertainment.
“The Autodesk Education Summit at fmx/08 will focus on developing a better understanding of the top organisational issues and challenges currently facing educators in the industry. Our objective is to ensure that we all have the working knowledge required to develop and sustain successful partnerships moving forward,” he added.
