Selected teams can get up to $90,000 investment in their projects
The Global Top Round has opened up applications for their 2017 programme for funding and advice.
The indie-accellerator program has upped their total funding this year from 2016's $40,000 investment total.
Applicants can submit their game for potential support with no restrictions to location, genre or platform. Applications will be open until July 15th with the finalists offered expenses paid trip to the GTR Conference at the Melbourne International Games Week in October.
According to the press release, "teams will receive up to $90,000 in direct investment in exchange for studio equity and a project revenue share once project net revenue eclipses $200,000. Alongside financial investment, GTR provides developers with development strategy and marketing support, data on industry trends, investor relations assistance and direct connections to publishers across the globe."
The first round of judging will commence regionally after applications close. Following that, after the shortlist is whittled down to ten for the conference, finalists will get development support in the accellorator program, followed by marketing support and then finally investment. The last three stages of this will take place after the final ten have been announced at the GTR Conferece.
