Mobile development platform provider releases Corona Cloud

Corona Labs goes public with cloud service suite

Corona Labs has today made available it’s new Corona Cloud offering.

The new platform offers a range of cloud services, offering multiplayer support, leaderboard and achievement functionality, and features to allow chat, push notifications, analytics, social integration and more.

Corona Cloud is available to all developers, including the corona SDK’s 200,000 existing users. The two solutions are designed to work in unison.

“In the evolving mobile ecosystem, practically all apps need to be connected to the cloud,” says Walter Luh, CEO of Corona Labs. “The combination of Corona SDK and Corona Cloud empowers developers to focus all their efforts on building high quality apps and games with unprecedented efficiency.”

Corona Cloud supports a wealth of platforms, such as iOS, Android, NOOK, Kindle Fire, Windows Phone 8 and BlackBerry.

Corona Cloud is priced in various tiers, from a free option available to any developer upwards. Every tier provides developers with unlimited user accounts, leaderboards and achievements. Additional features such as multiplayer support are available based on each tier’s allocation of API calls.
