Testology’s Robson tackles London Marathon

Testology’s managing director Andy Robson is this year taking on the London Marathon to raise money for charity The Katie Piper Foundation.

Normally found heading up the games and web content QA and consultancy outfit Testology, Robson is now having to make time to get in shape for the gruelling race; the largest in the world of its kind.

The money he raises from sponsors will go to the The Katie Piper Foundation, which helps disfigured people to reconnect with their lives and their communities by making it easier to live with burns and scars. The charity strives to progress extended rehabilitation and scar management for burns survivors, with a view to providing information on – and access to – non-surgical treatments for burns and scars.

"Running the marathon has always been something that I’ve wanted to do, although once I did get my place I did wonder what I was getting myself into; training six days a week in all weather, running anything from 20 miles a week to 60 miles a week. Blisters, sore feet, aching legs," said Robson.

"I always like a challenge and I think running 26 miles is going to be a great achievement and raise money for a great cause."
