Apple refuses approval after description jokes that free-to-play is 'nonsense'
VVVVVV and Super Hexagon creator Terry Cavanagh has had his latest game rejected from the App Store after describing in-app purchases as "nonsense".
The iOS title, Don’t Look Back, had a message to users in its short description jokingly stating the game was completely free, and not free-to-play.
“Don’t Look Back is a short game I made in 2009,” read the description.
“This is a completely free game, not free-to-play”; there are no in-app purchased or any of that nonsense.”
A message from Apple then claimed the app was not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines, and advised Cavanagh that “it would be appropriate” to remove or revise the description.
After making the required amendments, the game has since been approved and is available for download on the App Store.
Fucking apple nazis
Seriously, you can't have the first comment about some reference to Nazis. You've got to get some normal constructive criticism posts in first before you bring in the Hitler/Nazi material. Godwin's law; look it up and revise your first comment.
Fucking apple nazis. (Is that better? This is third post)
AND this is one more reason I develop for Android 1st, Apple 2nd.
