Kuju Partners to offer independent studios support in taking games to market

Kuju launches consultancy, QA and publisher negotiation service

UK games studio Kuju has opened a new independent-focused consultancy service named Kuju Partners.

The new business will offer administration services, QA, consultancy and the purchase of game technologies at preferred rates. Calling on Kuju’s established pool of contacts and industry relationships, the Partners business will also assist with raising finance and publisher negotiations.

Kuju Partners will be headed up by Kuju COO Adrian Hawkins, who will be supported by a newly appointed business development team.

The business already has it’s first client, b.AND.x Studios, which is reported to be working on a new game with a proposed multi-million dollar budget.

"I’m delighted that we are now representing b.AND.x Studios and look forward to signing up more independent games companies, helping foster and bringing to market exciting new titles," said Dominic Wheatley (pictured), Kuju’s new CEO.

"We are passionate about developing our new game and believe in its potential," added b.AND.x Studios CEO Christian Bittler. "However, Kuju have been running their own studios for many years and have the experience and contacts that can turn potential into reality. It’s a perfect arrangement for an independent like us."

For the various services offered Kuju Partners plans to charge a fee based on the production budget. As part of any deal Kuju would share in the commercial success of projects developed in part by Kuju Partners.

Developers interested in working with Kuju Partners should contact Felicity Harper-Ronald at Kuju here.
