Total War developer takes top prize, with Firefly Studios and Side close behind
Last night saw the sharpest minds from across the UK’s games industry descend on the tri-annual Develop Quiz.
A sharp-witted team from The Creative Assembly eventually took home the coveted trophy after storming to victory with one of the highest scores ever achieved at any Develop Quiz, dropping just four points from a total of 72.
Firefly Studios trailed closely behind, just two points shy of the victors, while audio and scripting outfit Side took third place.
Teams clashed over topics like ‘Dogs in the Movies’, ‘Villains’ Lairs’ and ‘Heroines of Science Fiction’, and looked perplexed by the now infamous ‘Who’s Behind Seb Coe’ sports challenge.
Thanks to all the teams, the quiz's sponsors Microsoft and Deep Silver, and our round sponsors UKIE, Testronic and Avatar Games Recruitment, the ever-popular event was an enormous success.
Despite coming in last place, Datascope did take home a prize in the form of a Nokia Lumia 800 phone, donated by Microsoft and given out after a blind draw.
If you want to be there for our January 30th Develop Quiz, taking place in London, keep an eye on our website, or email kathryn.humphrey@intentmedia.co.uk.
