Gordon Hall to lead up mobile operations at recently christened The Blast Furnace
The former head of Rockstar Leeds has joined Activision’s new mobile studio as chief creative officer.
The new developer, named The Blast Furnace, will be led by Gordon Hall alongside the former head of Rockstar London Mark Washbrook.
The studio is to focus on developing "triple-A interactive experiences" to the mobile space.
Activision Leeds' first game is platformer Pitfall, which was released on iOS today.
