Recently unveiled tech to be a single app
Microsoft is to incorporate its new SmartGlass tech into all of its future first-party titles.
As reported by Joystiq, Microsoft Studios corporate VP Phil Spencer said that once the tech is released in autumn, new games will allow users to connect their Xbox 360 with their tablets and smartphones.
"It just makes so much sense for a developer who wants to supply, maybe not time-critical information, like 'that enemy is getting ready to shoot you,' but information that augments what's happening on screen,” he said.
"I think you'll see information sharing, context sharing while you're in the room, with video and with games, as well as gameplay happening in more distributed environments."
Spencer confirmed that SmartGlass would come in the form of a single app that can be used to sync up with a user’s gamertag.

"You don't have to log in and out of each app – you know, 'I'm going to start the Mass Effect app, and now I'm going to start the Game of Thrones app.' So you have this surface, this smart surface," said Spencer
"That sits on any device that you already own that's always in sync with what's happening on the television, and it knows where to go and grab the right content to display at the right time, to make sure that if you're playing Halo, then the Halo surface is available on SmartGlass.”

- After being added to a connected device(nest), an app(egg) eventually grows and pushes out all the other apps(fleg) till it dominates the device(nest), demanding to be fed by the original owner(mother bird).
If you can not come up with your own hardware solution, hijack all the others and force them to support your needs... while paying a subscription to use your other devices to support the console in the living room!
