Puzzle/platformer selling more than 2,000 copies a day
Hit indie game Fez has garnered more than 100,000 downloads on XBLA, developer Polytron has revealed.
Created by Canadian developer Phil Fish, the puzzle/platformer took five years to make, and was released on April 13th this year.
This means the title has been downloaded on average more than 2,000 times a day.
...that Fez hasn't sold much better than this. Regardless of Fish's self-induced attempts at quashing the public's interest in it, Fez is actually a fairly deep, fun, and outstanding game.
I'd suggest putting this into the next Humble Indie Bundle as soon as the term of his contract with Microsoft expires :^) That'd net him quite a few additional sales he wouldn't have made otherwise, especially since it's currently restricted to the Xbox 360.
