VooFoo and Boss Baddie to collaborate on Big Sky: Infinity for PS3 and Vita

UK indie devs seal Ripstone publishing deal

UK indie developer Boss Baddie has sealed a new deal with Ripstone to publish twin-stick shooter Really Big Sky on PS3 and Vita.

The new title, Big Sky: Infinity, is to be developed in collaboration with VooFoo Studios, responsible for games such as Pure Chess and Hustle Kings.

The game will be the first entry in the series to be released on console.

“We’re excited about the opportunities now available for the game so we can take it to the next level,” said Boss Baddie leade developer James Whitehead.

“It’s great to get input and support from industry veterans and the support Ripstone have provided has been invaluable.”

VooFoo technology director Mark Williams added: “It is hugely exciting to be able to continue our collaboration with Ripstone, and join forces with the incredibly creative guys at Boss Baddie to bring the Big Sky series to the PlayStation Network.

“With the passion, enthusiasm and expertise of the three parties combined, we are well placed to deliver a world class game.”

As well as developing Really Big Sky, Boss Baddie has created games such as puzzle platformer Lunnye and Wake.
