Crowdfunded RPG Wasteland 2 will be developed through the Unity engine, the project’s director has announced.
Brian Fargo (pictured), whose studio inXile received more than $3 million for the project, said the Unity Engine “meets all the criteria we need”.
Unity, a games platform of which the most basic model available completely free, can build to a number of platforms.
The engine supports PC, Mac, PS3, Xbox 360, browsers and is perhaps most popular for its popularity for iOS and Android game developers.
