Nintendo used London based creative audio service provider Side to produce the voice acting on its critically acclaimed Wii title Xenoblade Chronicles.
Side was commissioned to cast, direct, and record the English voices for the European localisation of the game with 13,000 lines of dialogue across 140 characters.
“Many of the team at Side are longstanding fans of JRPG’s, especially since our work on the award winning Dragon Quest VIII.,” said Side creative director Andy Emery.
“It’s nice to see Xenoblade Chronicles now receiving such critical praise.”
London based Side has previously provided services on games such as Dragon Age II, Fable III and Goldeneye 007.
