The biggest digital distributor in games will address the trade at the London Games Conference.
Jason Holtman, director of business development for Steam at US super-developer Valve, will present a keynote at the November event about the digital market.
He will be joined by Sega’s John Clark, head of digital distribution and UK MD, also taking the stage to talk about evolving download markets.
Meanwhile, analyst Nicholas Lovell and customer research outfit TNS will present special audience-voting sessions that look at, respectively, the companies winning in the digital revolution, and the changing expectations of consumers.
An expert in digital forensics, London School of Economics’ visiting professor Peter Sommer, will also host a session offering advice on the year’s hottest issue: security in the connected age.
These five join an impressive speaker line-up that already includes GameStop International EVP Mike Mauler, Eidos life president Ian Livingstone and famed games designer Peter Molyneux.
All will be addressing an audience of over 300 to discuss the evolving online and physical games markets.
The London Games Conference takes place at the Royal Society of Medicine on November 10th, starting at 4pm.
One more heavyweight speaker will be revealed soon, rounding out the event’s focused schedule of micro-keynotes. The conference proper is followed by networking and dinner.
