Tomb Raider studio 'building new IP'

EA exec producer quits for Crystal Dynamics

Scot Amos has this month left his role as executive producer at EA studio Visceral.

Amos (pictured) has moved to nearby Square Enix outfit Crystal Dynamics, the studio most famous for its Tomb Raider remakes. He joins the company as an executive producer, where he will apparently be working on completely new IP.

Both Amos’s old and new employers are based in Redwood City, California.

“We are thrilled to add Amos’s 20 years of experience, and over 25 shipped games worth of expertise, as the cornerstone for our new venture,” said Crystal Dynamics general manager Darrell Gallagher.

“His knowledge of building new IP, forging world-class teams, and shipping blockbuster games is a great infusion to our studio’s on-going growth and talent base.”
