Call for six cinematics interns on Devil May Cry project

Cambridge-based Ninja Theory is offering six young aspiring developers the chance to work at its studio for half a year.

The award-winning studio, which among other projects is developing Devil May Cry for Capcom, wants new talent to join its cinematics team.

Those chosen will be given the CV-illuminating chance to work with performance capture data generated for Devil May Cry.

A basic salary is included, but so is the chance of a permanent position at the studio.

“Our intern program has worked really well in the past, so I’m very excited to be offering the opportunity to aspiring ninjas again” said studio co-founder Nina Kristensen.

“This is a great opportunity for any graduates or students part way through their course who want to learn what it is like working on a real triple-A title.”

The internship runs from July 2011.

I think this is a great openning for graduates. Be interesting to see if Scottish vs Bournemouth graduates get placements there vs semi trained artists.

Overall, best of luck folks. This is truly a great way to get into a AAA studio development

Job and opportunity creation does not need to go through a organization. Any pro game/educational effort should be applauded at this stage.

This is especially true about getting proper lecturers/folks to teach at University level.

Game education is held by back the tradional educational mindset and curriculum, and subsequently some sort of accreditation.

Whereas developers & creators with years of experience developing a product, and practical knowhow should be encouraged to be involved more rather jump though hoops for some sort of skillset approval.

Funniest thing I heard all day, because having Skillset makes you superior and the best course around.

Jesus.
