Casual gaming giant Zynga has made the latest in a long run of acquisitions by picking up the staff from Floodgate Entertainment.
The team from the Massachusetts casual, mobile and PC specialist will join the staff at Zynga Boston, with Floodgate’s founder, Paul Neurath, assuming the role of creative director.
The terms of the deal were not made public, reports TechCrunch.
Floodgate, which grew from Looking Glass Studio, opened its doors in 2000, and went on to create a number of Java and Brew titles based on EA licenses, as well as original games for PC.
The acquisition is Zynga’s tenth in as many months.
