Matthew Jeffery leaves EA for Autodesk role

Employment boss ends eight year Electronic Arts spell

Recruitment guru Matthew Jeffery has been appointed head of talent acquisition at games tools giant Autodesk.

Prior to the appointment, UK-based Jeffery had served as global director of talent for Electronic Arts. He joined the publisher in February 2003 as head of European studio recruitment, and was awarded a major promotion in October 2007.

Jeffery has over ten years experience in sales, marketing and recruitment.

Autodesk recently completed a $36m acquisition of UI specialist Scaleform.

Brilliant news for Autodesk. Matt has been an incredible pro-active supporter in the skills field for so long. Glad we haven't lost him. Especially because I think he still owes me a drink.
