5th Cell, Booyah and Cerny Games also set to speak
Polyphony Digital’s longstanding CEO Kazunori Yamauchi has been announced as the headline speaker at next year’s DICE event in Las Vegas.
The conference, set for 9-11th February, will also feature speakers from the likes of 5th Cell, Booyah and Cerny Games, along with film-maker John Stevenson.
“The DICE Summit is the pre-eminent stage for creativity within the world of interactive entertainment,” said academy of interactive arts & sciences president, Martin Rae.
“We are pleased to feature some of the leading creative minds from the whole spectrum of interactive entertainment - film to traditional console games to casual games - come to share their philosophy and approach to producing entertainment.”
So is he going to talk about "how to stretch a game's development cycle over 5 years, and still make money"? Or "how to make a game and call it a simulation... and get away with it"?
Or is he simply going to have the conference delayed for 3 months?
